At the recent 2023 Sustainable Nanotechnology (SNO) Conference held at Marina Del Rey on November 10-12, 2023, both undergraduate student Nicholas Verwey and doctoral students Shirsa Mazumdar and Saurabh Singh earned Student Awards for their cutting edge research. Undergraduate student Nicholas Verwey won the NanoPitch Award (Third Place) for his research on hydroxyapatite beads howing efficient removal of fluoride, while doctoral students Shirsa and Saurabh [resented their researh on nano modified phosphate fertilizers and green tea nanobiochar for phosphate and nitrate removal respectively. Their achievements not only highlight their individual talents but also reflect the group's commitment to fostering excellence in research across all levels of academia.
